The NSGIC Elevation-Derived Hydrography for the 3D National Hydrography Dataset (EDH for 3DNHD) project will kick-off with an introductory webinar scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 3 - 4 PM EDT. The webinar will address NSGIC activities that support national efforts to update the National Hydrography Dataset with elevation-derived hydrography as a first step toward building a 3D National Hydrography Dataset. Specific options for NSGIC community participation will be discussed.
This webinar will be the first in a series of 3DNHD-related forums intended to explore state and regional EDH activities and to derive critical factors affecting the development of EDH and the integration of those data into the National Hydrography Dataset. Webinar registration is open to all. Those that are not members of NSGIC will need to establish a NSGIC account (not membership) during the registration process. Contact Lynda Wayne, NSGIC Data for The Nation Project Manager, with questions or if you are interested in presenting during a later session of the EDH for 3DNHD webinar series. Get the latest information on the most recent updates made to the U.S. Census Bureau's new data platform, data.census.gov. Join us for this brief and highly focused webinar where the presenter will cover code releases, new available data sets, new features and functionality, and where you can find helpful resources.
