ABOUT ILGISA...

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology that has come of age in the information society. The character of GIS that sets it apart from other information technologies is the need to identify 'where.' GIS has evolved from specialized mapping software and joined the ranks of the mission-critical business infrastructure. Today, GIS is all around us. From web-based mapping, to in-car navigation systems, to sophisticated scientific and business analysis, GIS is everywhere.
