The Board is elected from the membership according to the By-Laws of the Association. The Board consists of seven elected Board members and the President, President Elect and Past President.
Annual elections are held in early fall and new officers are installed at the Fall meeting. A Board member can serve no more than two consecutive two-year terms. The President Elect moves through the positions of President and Past President and must have previous Board experience. Because of potential conflicts of interest, members from the private sector cannot serve on the Board or as President, but can be active in the Association by serving on Committees.
